I am glad to announce we have a blog up and running. It is meager but at least it is going. We invite everyone everywhere to write about their experiences blogging and remodeling and building and waterproofing and anything related to buildings. My name is Bob McGuire and I have been in the remodeling business for ever it seems. I’ve done thousands of jobs, both big and small. One of my hobbies is the internet and to be more specific making web pages. I have several. So how did I come up with this URL?  Well it is officially a sub-domain of my original domain, expertcarpenter.com .   All that means is that it is a fancy folder in my online account. the tricky part is the basement-remodeling-blog. part. Why didn’t I pick something like bobs-blog  or oakbridge-construction-blog.  or something like that? Well the deal is that the one I picked is what they call a “key word” in the web page building business. The closer to the front of the URL the better.  Why the dashes?  Well dashes are invisible to search engines but make it easier for people to read.  WOW all that!  Now you know.  I am going to end this post for now and see what happens.
